50 High Tech Metal Texture Pack - 4K Full PBR tileable/seamless textures

About this collection

This texture pack contains 50 (+2 bonus) High Quality 4k seamless metallic textures to be used in Photoshop or any 3D program/Engine like Blender, Maya, Unreal Engine, Unity, etc!

Each texture has the following maps:

• Diffuse/Albedo
• Height map
• Normal map
• Metallic map
• Smoothness/Roughness map
• Edge map
• Ambient Occlusion map
• Preview image of the full material (all the maps combined)

Having all these maps for each texture gives you full control of all the properties of the material.
For example, if you want to make it less or more reflective/shiny, just adjust the brightness of _smoothness.jpg map.

How to use

Extract the ZIP file containing all the folders (1-52) somewhere on your hard drive.
Each texture (and all its maps) is stored in a folder going from 1 to 52.

Tip: Go to the main folder and search for preview.jpg, this will show all the previews, and if you like to use one:
right click and choose Open file location.

Photoshop/any other image editing program
Use _diffuse_Original.jpg if you want the texture to be colored.
Create a "pattern" using the texture (or any of its variants).
Apply the pattern to your layer and use the tiling options.

Blender
1. Create a new material and select it in the Shading Editor
2. Press ctrl + shift + T while the material is selected
3. Go to the folder of the texture that you want and select all of the maps.
4. Blender will now automatically link all the different maps to their corresponding inputs.

Note: Since blender uses Roughness to define the smoothness, you have to invert the _smoothness.jpg map using a node.

Other 3D programs/engines
Connect the corresponding maps to their inputs in the material editor of that program/engine.

Tip: You can also create a whole new set of different maps using the diffuse_original.jpg map in your favorite image editing program.
